Nursery (Ages 0-30 months)
The goal of our Nursery Ministry is to introduce infants and young children to a loving, fun, and safe atmosphere that extends the grace of God to them in practical ways. All of our nursery teachers are CPR trained annually and they look forward to caring for your baby in our fun-filled playroom with toys, songs, and more.

Nursery Teachers
Our teachers are awesome volunteers who love children and have fulfilled the following requirements before serving your child today:
- Has completed infant/child CPR & safety training taught by the Red Cross
- Has attended training regarding our church's philosophy for teaching and caring for children
- Is an Every Nation member or is in the process of membership
- Has passed a state-officiated criminal background check
Life Savers
Our Lifesavers team is a group of volunteers who are specifically certified and trained in infant/child CPR as well as emergency protocol. Although we trust we will never need to use them, to ensure our children's safety, they are ready and available to respond to any 9-1-1 emergency that might arise.
Class Security
When you sign-in your child, they will be assigned a number and you as their parent given a wristlet with that number on it. In the event your child needs you during the service, the Nursery teacher will page you and your number will appear in red on an LCD screen to the left of the theater screen. Rest assured that if your number isn't on the LCD screen, your child is having a wonderful time! The writslet with your child's number is also used as a claim check at the end of the service. For your child's safety, no child will be returned without first receiving the claim check, so we appreciate you keeping yours handy.
Safety
With food allergies on the rise, we ask parents to provide only Sippy cups/bottles filled with water during your child's time in the nursery. We will offer Cheerios to those who are old enough and will give paper cups of water if needed. If you would rather we didn't feed your baby, or if you have any special instructions, please speak with our nursery teachers each time you drop off your child.
We strive to maintain a ratio of one teacher for every three children. Should the teachers need an additional assistant at any time, they will page the ushers to bring in another teacher. There are always a minimum of two teachers present in the nursery.
Potty Training
If your child is in the process of being potty trained, please help him or her use the restroom before coming to class. For your child's privacy, should your child need assistance in the restroom during class, the teacher will page you to help.
Cleanliness
To provide a safe environment for your child, all mouthed toys from the previous week have been properly cleaned and dried.
Health
In order to keep our children (and teachers) healthy, we ask that children stay with their parents if they exhibit any of the following symptoms:
- Persistent runny nose
- Persistent cough
- Fever in the last 24 hours
- Vomiting or diarrhea
- Unusual rash on the body or skin eruptions
- Red or infected eyes
If you think your child might have one of these symptoms, we appreciate you keeping him or her with you during the service.
