Nursery

Diaper Policy

When it comes to changing diapers, the Nursery will now align with the bathroom policy used by the rest of Kids’ Church. If it becomes clear that a child needs a diaper change, the parents should be texted to the Nursery to change their child and use their own diapers to do so. This eliminates the need for the nursery to carry diapers of different sizes and establishes the precedent for the bathroom policy in other classrooms.

Snack Time

We aim to provide fun, kid-friendly snacks that are reasonably healthy and low in sugar. For Nursery, we provide puffs or Cheerios. If your child has any specific dietary restrictions (i.e. gluten, dairy, nuts, etc) please let us know. Also, feel free to provide your own alternative snack options for your child if you prefer.

Nursery Songs

Welcome Song

Hello [child’s name],
Hello [child’s name],
Hello [child’s name],
We’re glad you came to church!

Five Green and Speckled Frogs

Five green and speckled frogs
Sat on a speckled log
Eating the most delicious bugs
Yum, yum!
One jumped into the pool
Where it was nice and cool
Now there are four green speckled frogs

Four green and speckled frogs…
[This continues down to zero]

Jesus Loves Me

Jesus loves me, this I know
For the Bible tells me so,
Little ones to Him belong
They are weak, but He is strong.
Yes, Jesus loves me.
Yes, Jesus loves me.
Yes, Jesus loves me.
The Bible tells me so.
