BRUCE & CAROL FIDLER Senior Pastors
Bruce:
Hi, I'm Bruce. My wife, Carol, and I founded the church in 2001 in response to a clear leading from God's Spirit. Besides the basic responsibilities that go with being the senior pastor, I especially want to see young men and women grow in their leadership potential and so prefer to create opportunities for them to serve in areas of major responsibility, rather than doing all the typical things that one normally expects a pastor to do.
I also have the privilege of representing our church when I travel to various parts of Asia, North America, Europe, and Africa to teach the Bible in various ministry schools and leadership gatherings. I love learning and am at present taking courses from Regent College while also overseeing the church.
Carol:
Hi, I'm Carol, and I'm on the pastoral staff here at Every Nation. I serve on the leadership team which oversees the different ministries of our church, and am especially involved with helping our small group ministries thrive and grow, a lot of prayer, plus pastoring and mentoring women.
BASIC STUFF
Bruce:
My life was forever changed when God graciously answered my hunger for truth and revealed Jesus to me while I was studying at the Univ of Washington. That's also where I met Carol. We married right after college and have served in full-time Christian ministry ever since. We have two grown boys, Benjamin and Brandon.
I have a special love for young people, internationals, and the Bible that has taken me around the world in the service of God's truth. My greatest joy is in teaching people to read, interpret and understand the Bible so that they might know and love God, and live for him, making an impact for good in this world of need. I love Seattle and the people who live here.
Carol:
I've been married to Bruce since 1983. We have 2 awesome boys; Benjamin and Brandon. Ben is a senior at Claremont McKenna College in California, studying International relations. Brandon is a freshman at the University of Washington, majoring in music.
So that makes us officially empty nesters. I love God and I love people and nothing makes me happier than enjoying life with my family and friends and telling people about Jesus and seeing God transform lives.

Bruce:
